Little Bump Under Nostril. No Pain. History Of Acne. Suggest
Hi. I am female and 44 years old. I'm going thru a lot of changes right now as I'm quite sure I'm going thru peri-menopause for the last 3 years? With all the weird things I'm goi g thru I've now suddenly got a little bump under my right nostril. It doesn't hurt and I've had acne since I was a teenager so I would recognize if it was a pimple. Never had a spot that Didnt hurt I e been gently massaging it thinking it was a spot but realized after a few days that it did not hurt like one. It's been there for about 4-5 days now.
Hi and thanks for the query,
It could be worth while seeing your family care physician to have a look at it. Specific characteristics of this nodule could help orient an appropriate diagnosis. Tenderness, colour are key components that should be important. Treatment could involve incision, antibiotics of some local cream depending on the nature and extent. In case if severe pain, an analgesic could be of real help. My suggestion is you book an appointment with your primary care physician. Do not think it should be very serious if a proper diagnosis is made.
Best regards,
