Little Bump With Small Pimples Around After Cutting A Pimple While Shaving. Is This Concerning?
While shaving I accidently cut a pimple on my chin. It was a small pimple, for I didn t even realize it was there. I notice that instead of healing completely it s forming this little bump that have super small porus bumps on it. Almost like dry skin or super small pimples. The problem is that when I shave, its almost impossible to not cut it again because the bump won t go away. I m not sure what it is, or if I need to see a derm. but I need help with this issue.
Hi, After reading your history I can make out that you developed cut injury with secondary infection of the affected area.
Pain over a bump after a cut is basically possible only when there is secondary infection.
Take a course of antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin or cefadroxyl 500 mg twice daily for secondary infection. Do not pinch, pop or squeeze the area. Give proper rest to the affected area and do not shave.
For pain part you can take tablet paracetamol or diclofenac two times. If at all the pain is no reducing in 48 hours then show it to a doctor.
Take care.
