Hi,I had this little lump on my labia minora, and i squeezed it,a bit of blood and some liquid came out of it..the lump itself didnt hurt but the squeezing process did hurt, this is the first time that this occured.should i be worried?i read online that it can be harmless and also because of stress or immune system reaction, and i do have sore throath and i had a very big anatomy exam at college..
It sounds like a cyst or an ingrown hair that resulted in an infection of the hair follicle (folliculitis).
This usually results in the accumulation of pus, blood and other debris. I would have preferred you to not have it busted, but as you already have please keep the area clean and dry.
Also try to apply a sterile pad in the area and if your condition does not improve in 2-4 days, then please visit a doctor, as bursting it could have resulted in a re-infection.
In the meantime, have 3-7 sitz baths a day and apply warm compresses in the region several times a day.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
