Hi There...My Father has a multiple tumors within the liver . 1 being 14cm large and 5 others in the general area.Have yet to confirm via biopsy, the CT is scheduled. Blood and X-rays indicate that it has not spread to the Lungs or colon. He is a 66 year old Asian Male that has Hep B (believe it was onset from childhood). A Cancer Agency Dr. looked at the X-rays and said this might not be operable...the confusing part is that they have yet to do a Biopsy to confirm Cancer and based his observations on an X-ray rather than a CT. If this is truly not operable, are there any other options and hope for recovery. Are there newer Chemotherapy or Laser Removal technology that can perhaps help?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Let his other investigations be done.
In-operability of the tumor indicates usually more severity of the condition.
He might have to have chemotherapy which would be palliative.
But wait for the reports and based on it the treatment would be planned.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
