Long Period, Scanty Flow, Blood In Urine Post Cystoscopy, Biopsy, Hydro-dilatation. Had Missed Periods Last Month. What Could Be The Cause For Unusual Periods?
Had cystoscopy with biopsy and hydrodilatation on the 5th and light blood in urine for day and a half, and pain when urinating for 2 days. Then on 12th started period which normally only lasts 3 days but this time it is now 5th day and blood in urine, lots but reducing, and nothing much blood on pads which is unusual for me. Also never had periods in May last period sometime in April. Is this heavy period as missed one month s or could it be related to the cystoscopy and hydrodilation?
hi carol
thanks for ur query on HCM
yes it may be a result of the previous cystoscopic procedures
iatrogenic trauma injury followed by necrosis may cause urethrovaginal fistula
again this two things may be totally unrelated
may be of separate etiology
so do consult ur urologist
a repeat cystoscopy is needed here along with a dye test and urethrogram to see for the fistulous tract if any then proper evaluation and mamagement
so do consult ur urologist
thank u
