Loose Bowl Movement, Mucus In Stool, Itchy Anus, Treated For Vaginal And Bladder Infection
hi, i have noticed for the last 4 days, my stool has become smaller (thinner than normal). It is yellow in color with white strings. The stool also consisted of mucus and white pellets. Also, I have noticed a little itching around my anus (sometimes). I was treated for a vaginal and bladder infection about a month ago.

As you mentioned various symptoms that occur either as primary form or secondary form.
1. In primary/ idiopathic form the cause remain unknown.
2. Secondary form occurs due to various causes like skin conditions- mucus present in stool may irritate the local area causing pruritus as well as some allergic reactions to any soap, detergents, sweat & moisture in local area may also aggravate the symptoms. Threadworm infestation may present as all of these symptoms. Some other infections like sexually transmitted disease, bacterial and fungal infection may also lead to pruritus ani problem.
So you should go for stool examination for presence of cyst/ ova, any type of bacterial organism, total blood count. Consult a physician for further management accordingly.
