Hi, I am 27 years old and for the past 6 months I have loose stools sometimes and constipation as well, one year ago I was having the same condition that time my weight was just 53 kg, I took medicine and cured as a result I gained about 10 kg weight and I was 63 kg but since I am having the same condition, I lost almost 8 kg again within 6 months, Please suggest me some precious solutions to restore my health condition and how can I put on weight.
Hi thanks for your question. There are many causes of alternate constipation and loose stool. The commonest being irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, tuberculosis of gut, crohn's disease, malabsorption syndrome and Necrotizing enterocolitis.Loss of 10 kg of weight is significant. I would suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist who may be able to perform colonoscopy along with many more tests on you to determine the cause of your symptoms. Your problem can be then treated depending upon the cause. Hope this answers your question.
