Loose Stools, Pain In The Stomach. Diagnosed With Giardia Infection. Need A Cure For Recurrence. Stress Related?
Last year I went through a divorce which happened to coincide with dreadful pains in my stomach after eating and loose stools.
I had a colonoscopy and endless tests through a Specialist all of which proved negative for whatever was being tested. The specialist ended up believing I had caught giardia and treated me for such although I had not been anywhere exotic. The symptoms subsided but have now come back with a vengeance and I'm at a complete loss to know where to start all over again with a diagnosis. I just wonder whether it could be stress related as I'm under enormous amounts of pressure again ?

Presence of abdominal pain, loose stools and defecation after eating suggests the diagnosis.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ gastroenterologist and should go for thorough check up.
You should also go for complete blood count, blood sugar, serum electrolytes, and thyroid profile.
You should take complete antibiotic therapy, antispasmodics, probiotics, hemostatic, antipyretics, if needed.
Take soft diet along with yogurt and banana.
Avoid milk and all milk related products.
