Loss Of Vision For Few Minutes With Huge Pupils And Black Eyes, Slumped Body With Head Down, Headache After Regaining Vision. History Of Speech Impediment. Serious?
My stepson went blind for a few minutes this morning. His pupils were as large as the circle part of your eye with the color and looked completely black. He seemed lethargic and pale and said his heart was pounding and his stomach hurt. Once he regained vision he wanted to get in his bed and while walking his body was slumped with head down. He recovered about 20 minutes later and then said his head was hurting. Could there be something serious going on? This has never happened before and he has no other health issues. He does have a speech impediment and learning disability.
Transient loss of vision along with slumped body is serious. There is a chance of some vessel occlusion in central nervous system. I would suggest a MRI.
