Low Platelets, WBC Counts, Enlarged Spleen, Post Cotial Bleeding, Complicated Pregnancies, Blood Clots. Advised Bone Marrow Biopsy. Reason?

Low platelets, enlarged spleen , low/boarderline low white blood cell counts, no bleeding problems other than post cotial bleeding and easy brusing, complicated pregnancies - miscarriages and blood clots. Hematologist said based on the blood results I ve had and the enlarged spleen he would like to do a bone marrow biopsy . What could he be looking for?
