Low Sex Drive With Girlfriend. Fatigued All The Time. Remedy?
Hi Doctor,
Appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. I've been having trouble with a low sex drive and the problem is that I'm only 22. This sort of happened all of a sudden while I was with my last girlfriend, which ended poorly. I used to have a high sex drive, but now, with my new girlfriend, it's been tough to really want to have sex (which causes some problems for us). This is making sex into something anxious, when it used to be something that was enjoyable.
I also feel fatigued all the time (this has been going on for quite some time) and lightheaded once in a while. I feel detached from reality sometimes - as in I feel like I have out of body experiences once in a while.
There are some phase in men's life during which his libido is greatly reduced. So if you are having problem since little time, it is normal. If it is for quite a long time, you should consult sexologist or psychiatrist. Doctor may advise you to go for blood tests including thyriod or vitamin B 12 level or hemoglobin.
Sometimes stress may be a cause of your symptoms. If you are in stress, doctor may start anti deptessant drugs.
I hope you be fine soon.
Thanks.
