Lower Abdominal Pain. Was Treated For Urethritis, Had Sex After Treatment. Symptoms Appear Again On Antibiotic. Cause?

hi
i was treated for utheritis and four days after treatment i had sex and the symtoms appear again. i started another course of antibiotics (doxycycline), ts been five days now but i still have some discomfort specially pains in my lower abdominal area above my penis. Is this a result of the utheritis or something else. will it go away after my seven days of treatment. what could be the cause of this pain.

Its most probably a urinary tract infection or it could be a sexually transmitted disease as well. Do you have any discharge from your penis ? I would suggest to get your urine tested for any infection and also get an ultrasound of your abdomen / pelvis for check for any signs of inflammation in your bladder. If its a urine infection antibiotics for 5-7 days will treat it. Meanwhile you should drink alot of fluids and avoid sex for a few days until your test results are back.
