Lower Left Side/hip Began Hurts When Cough Had The Flu/bronchitis. Underlying Cause?
My lower left side/hip began hurting when I began to cough violently. It continues to hurt when I turn a certain way, stand, and cough. I had the flu/bronchitis and now have an intermittent cough which causes me to gag. This cough has lasted several days producing clear mucus. I feel like something is in the right side of my throat (i.e. like hair) that causes me to begin coughing. Have you heard of this occurrence?

There are many reasons for the foreign body sensation in throat.
You must consult an ENT specialist and get done a Flexible fiber optic naso-pharyngo-laryngoscopy ------ to see for the inside of the throat at the level of vocal cords.
In addition recurrent cough could be because of reflux or acidity.
for reflux take---
Antacid tablet
Syp. antacid gel 2 tsf two times a day half an hour before meals
multivitamin twice daily
Keep head end of bed elevated.
Avoid alcohol, Smoking
Do brisk walking daily
Go for walk after dinner
Avoid spicy food
Avoid late night coffee
follow up after 7 days.
