Lower Pelvic Pain. Probable Scare Tissue. Using Oxycintin. Hysterectomy Done Four Years Ago. Relief From Pain?
I am a 48 year old female and i have had lower pelvic pain for about 2 years. The pain is relentless. I have seen a gyn, GI and urologist i have had cat scans ultrasounds mri's w and without contrast. I am on oxycontin since than . No one knows the problem. I was treated with IC's some say it is scare tissue. I had a hysterectomy over 4 years ago. The pain keeps me in bed for days. It is not constipation because i treat for that. One chiropractor said it was a reparied fracture of the pelvic area. I did have trauma in my lower belly where the pain is 2 years ago. I have had shots from pain doctors with no relief. PLEASE HELP Lisa
If this is indeed scar tissue then simple surgery can help treat the problem and source of pain. Repaired or healed fractured should not cause any pain unless improper healing and bone ossification has occured. If so then please consult an orthopedician with an x-ray of the affected region.
Pain killers are not the solution and so you should find the cause and look into depth on the above mentioned causes.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
