Lump In Armpits, Raised, Hard, Painful, Pink And Sore. What Is The Reason?

2 days ago I saw and felt a lump in my armpit, it is raised and pink it was really sore now today its not as sore but a little, its kind of hard I can now touch it and press on it and it don't hurt as much, now when I put deoderent on it kind of hurts. I did change deoderents I usually use degree for girls but in the past few weeks I've tried other scents of degree and its not for girls just regular degree. Also the underwire from my bra was jabbing right around the area where the lump is for 2 days so I stopped wearing that one. Could it be from the wire?

It may be due to Axillary lymphadenitis,and a course of Antibiotics,including Ampicillin & cloxacillin for 10-14 days with Chymoral/Serratia may cure your problem.

Hi armpit contains lot of glands any obstruction inits opening or its infection causes swellong and inflammation causing pain, redness and you may get fever also. So thus may be due to wire which has caused constant irritation or due to the new deoderant. The other possibility is lymph node due to any other infection/ problem in upper limb or breast area.

So I advice you to avoid bra with such type of wires and new deoderants. Clean armpit with soap and keep it dry and clean. Can apply topical antibiotic and can take ibuprofen for pain. Better to consult your doctor once for examination.
