Lump In Throat, Burping A Lot, Feel Like Food Get Stuck While Eating. Cancerous Growth?

Hello. I have a lump feeling in my throat and when I swallow food it feels like it gets stuck in my chest as well. I am burping a lot and the back of my neck hurts like I pulled a muscle. Also, this morning when I swallows my vitamins it felt like it was hitting something in my throat. I am very worried I have a cancerous growth or something. Please help!

Hello
Welcome to HCM.
Most common cause of lump in throat is stress and anxiety!
Other common cause is GERD, as you have mentioned you have lots of burping it may be causing your throat lump.

Only in rare cases, a lump in the throat may be something more serious like cancer. If you drink or smoke then you are at high risk of throat cancer. A doctor can examine you and tell you if it's anxiety or something more serious.

Best wishes
