Lump On Thigh For 2 Years, Tightens During Sprinting, Limping. What Could Be This?
Hello! my question is that i have a lump on my thigh! its been there for about 2 years it started my sophomore year during track season , whenever i started to sprint it would start to tighten up and it would be a constant pain for about an hour and i would have to limp and i couldn't walk normally! do you think you know what it might be?
A lump or swelling anywhere in the body needs a constant observation.
The following warning signs should make you approach your treating doctor immediately - * Swift increase in size of the swelling * Swelling becoming cystic (soft) * Suddenly becoming painful * Change in the color of overlying skin * Presence of signs of inflammation (pain, local rise of temparature etc)
An open biopsy of the swelling is mandatory for making a diagnosis.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
