Lumps On Roof Of Mouth, Pain On Swallowing, Redness, Irritation. Due To Smoking Cannabis?
I ve had two very small smooth lumps at the apex of the roof of my mouth, I had been smoking large quantites of cannabis around the time it occurred however I have been doing so for about a year and never experienced anything like this before. It is slightly painful but a different feeling than a soar throat and I only feel it when I swallow or apply pressure to the area. When I look under light in a mirror the area just looks red and irritated.
Hello,
you are having oropharyngitis due to bacteria infection. If your doctor looks at it, he might be able to rule out oral candidiasis. Your infection could be treated with antibiotics such as penicillin v or amoxicillin-clavulinic acid and associate with a non-steroidal antiinflammatory like ibuprofen or voltarene or diclofenac depends on what you have over the counter. This will help treat the cause and the symptom you are presenting with.
As for you smoking canabis, i will suggest you quit smoking it, as you understand that the long term effect is unhealthy and you might end up having a much more serious affection.
Your doctor needs to examine the lesions closely.
Hi freeride! I think you are afraid too or may be it is cancer. Now! What to do! At present we don't know what it is. Stop smoking not at once but give 2 day gap between or more. Use oral mouth wash! Amoxicilline oral tab. And ask dental doctor for oral cream to make skin soft. And later if still there is lump, need to do biopsy to see if their is infection or not.So take care. Be healthy and wise. Bye.
