Lumps Under The Skin Of Scalp, Size Increased, Painless. Aches In Legs And Hips. Concerned

My partner, healthy 32 year old has discovered a lump under the skin/hair on his scalp. Just to the left of the crown. This lump has been present for around a year but has increased in size. It's hard and no definitive and is painless. More recently he has discovered 2 smaller lumps, more definitive pea sized lumps in different areas on the head. He is often tired and has aches in his legs and hips. He was been to the doctor re. Aches in legs and hips and this was put down to the way in which he walks and insoles were suggested for this! He is now concerned that the lumps and the aches etc may be connected. Any advise?
