Male, 50 Years. Bleeding Brownish Clot, Bright Red Blood After Intercourse. Advice

Hi

After sexual intercourse about a week ago my husband was bleeding. He had a wee directly after and said that like a brownish clot of blood came out. After that there was no more blood. Last night we had sexual intercourse again and again he said there was blood. He then had a wee and lots of bright red blood came out. After that was a trace of blood and then stopped. He is 50 years old and very concerned and thinking the worst. He is seeing a doctor later today but can you advise in the meantime? Thank you

Hi,
From history it seems that he might have some local injury on penis more likely from bruise on frenulum giving rise to bleeding.
There might be clotting of blood at bleeding point might have stopped bleeding.
Again after second intercourse, clot might have dislodged might have caused bleeding again.
As you are visiting your doctor, get examined.
