May I Know The Reason For Not Getting Periods Since One Week I Stopped The Premoult N Tab?

Hi i am sharma and i am 22 years old. i got married. I have used premoult n tablet to postpone my periods. I have stopped it last Sunday but still i didn't get my periods. I have used that tablet for five days only in night.and this is my first time i am using this tablet. May i know the reason of delay???

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

As you are sexually active, first i would like to rule out pregnancy for delayed pregnancy. Get urine pregnancy test done, more accurate 10 days after missed periods. Alternatively you can get blood HCG test with your gynecologist help, which is more sensitive in early detection.
This medication should not be taken in pregnancy, If your pregnancy test becomes positive consult gynecologist for further management.

Once pregnancy is ruled out, Usually after stopping this medication bleeding starts with in a week, Wait for few more days for your periods to start regularly.
