Me And My Child Are Having Stomach Pain And Diarrhea. Stomach Is Hurting. Cure For Symptoms?
Hello, my son and I have been sick since monday morning early. It is now thursday morning. It started out with throwing up and then stomach pain and diarrhea. Now for the past 2 days it has been diarrhea that is tan and creamy, and our stomach is hurting quite severly. I am getting weak now and my son is to. What can this be. I thought it was just the flu, but it has been 4 days for both of us....
Hi, Thanks for posting your query. With the available described details, there appears to high possibility of Acute viral gastroenteritis. You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ gastroenterologist/ pediatrician and should go for thorough check up. You and your child should go for complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, ultrasound imaging, and serum electrolytes, renal function test. You and your child should take antispasmodics, probiotics, antipyretics, if needed, under guidance of your treating doctor.
