Mild Cramping After Embryo Transfer, Constipated. Stomach Sore, Diarrhea, Cramps. Is This Normal ?
Hi, I am 30 years old. I just had a embryo transfer 7 days ago. Today is the third day of mild cramping. There's no sign of blood. I am constipated, but I'm thinking that may be from the Progesterone I am on. However, I get constipated. Then 10 minutes later my stomach is sore and I have diarrhea. This happens right after I eat. Having diarrhea pains makes me nauseous naturally. I am afraid to eat, because not even 15 mins later, I am having painful diarrhea cramps and I'm running to the bathroom. It is super painful. Is this normal?
Hi and thanks for the query, I do think you should not be very worried at this pint in time. This procedure involved introduction of foreign bodies into you. It is a normal body reactions to react to foreign bodies through secretion of specific mediators of inflammation. these mediators could have specific consequences on various systems giving an temporal sensation of malaise. however, in case symptoms persist, do not hesitate seeing a doctor. but for now, you really need not worry much, but be watchful. kind regards
