Mild Milky Discharge, Swelling In Vagina With Itching, Painful Sex. Possible Yeast Infection?

Hi. I had what I thought was a yeast infection mild milky discharge swelling and itching. I felt better about a week later so I had sex with my boyfriend needless to say it was very painful. Its been about a week and a half and I still have the itching and pain from the sex. Help me please. I feel like I need to see a doctor but a friend told me that Im still itching because Im not over the yeast infection..is she right?? what should I do

Hi,
Yes you are having active yeast infection and now might be having secondary bacterial infection giving rise to pain.
Apply anti-fungal cream locally.
Go for one course of oral anti-fungal and antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Keep local part clean, dry and airy.
