Mild Tickle In Throat After Suffering From Cold For Months. How To Alleviate These Symptoms?

I have an *extremely* mild tickle in my throat that does *not* cause me to cough (unless I do so voluntarily), which I think is probably related to having a few colds over the course of about two months around November/December. I have no other symptoms, and I'm trying to hydrate better which seems to help. Any ideas on how to further alleviate these symptoms?

Hello and welcome to health care magic,

You seem to be having an reflux and allergy problem. You can do these to feel better:

-take an anti histamine like levocetrizine in consultation with your doctor

-take an anti reflux medication like pantoprazole-

-take only non spicy and non oily food especially in the night

-do not immediately lie down after a meal

-take only warm fluids and water

-do not strain when you speak

Hope this helps. If not then you must get an upper GI endoscopy and get back to me or any ENT with the report

regards

Dr Sriram Nathan
