Mintop Has Improved Hair Growth But Have Growth On Chin And Gained Weight. Is It A Side Effect?

I am 24 yr old female. I have been facing hair loss since past 6 years. I loose my hair in bunches. Have been using Mintop 2 % since past 7 months and have seen a considerable improvement in my hair growth but hair fall is still very prominent. Specially while shampooing. As I am a sikh by religion I cannot cut or trim my hair.
Also please prescribe any multivitamins if required to be taken with Mintop. and for how long should i use mintop?
I have suddenly started getting thick hair on my chin n neck area. Is this a side effect of using mintop?
for information:
my blood group is o +ve and I weing 68 kgs (i have gained 8 kgs in this past one year)
