Missed Abortion. One Doctor Advised ForHucog Injection And Other Prescribed Dubagest With Folic Acid. Which Prescription Should I Follow?
hello Doc,
im 5.5 weeks pregnant,i m 35 yrs old and have one 10 yr old daughter.i had a missed abortion 3 yrs back.this time I consulted two doctors one of them adviced hucog 5000 inj and maintain 500 injection along with ecosprin75 and folic acid.the other on prescribed dubagest 200 capsules along with folic acid.im confused which prescription to follow please help me .secondly doctor performed internal usg but no fp,ys,fca was seen is it normal im really worried?

Hello dear!
Thank you for asking. The former is the latest approach to maintain pregnancy. human chorionic gonadotropins. And the latter is also used for the very same purpose. they are oral progesterones. They are very functional and i personally recommend them as they are cost effective and easily available.
All these maneuvers are to keep the abortions away as progesterones help them.
So i recommend later doctors advice. Keep the using Folic acid with ferrous sulphate. Femibion 1 for first trimester and Femibion 2 for second trimester onwards till lactation. Have regular follow ups monthly and then bi weekly after 6 months.
Have your blood groups tested if negative have Anti D antibodies and also have prophylactic ANA and other Abortion agents screen to be on the safer road.
Stay in touch with a good gynecologist whom you feel comfortable with.
And please No NSAIDs during first trimester. Acetaminophen at most if needed.
