I have missed my period this month, the last one I had was Sept 3rd, 2013. I have a fullness feeling in my abdomin. and lower back aching. Ihave waves of nausesness. I have taken 7 pregnancy tests and they all come up negative. My nails are growing like they have never grown before, long and strong. THe only life style change that I can think of is that I have started walking more, but not assesive. And I have started watching Twin 6 month old boys for a babysitting job. Could my hormones get messed up from taking care of twins about 30 hrs a week?
After going all the details, if you have missed your period this month and you are sexually active with unprotected sex then yes first we need to exclude pregnancy .
Your urine pregnancy test are negative hence just check with blood test Beta HCG and a Transvaginal Ultrasonography, to rule out any possibility of pregnancy and do consult a Gynecologist.
Once this is excluded then other causes like hormonal imbalance and severe stress, Anemia can be considered and may contribute to delayed period. Your job should not affect this.
Please continue good exercises.
Hope this helps. Good Luck. Dr.A.Dubey M.D.
