Missed Period And Have Sore Breast. What Could Be The Reason For Pain Near Ovary?
Hi, I missed my period this month, my breast are now sore on the sides near my arm pit. I ve never had sex, this last month my boy friend and I dry humped once (both totally clothed). I ve been experiencing pain on the right side near where my ovary /appendix, is for a few weeks now. Any ideas what s wrong? Could I be pregnant some how?
Hi, Thanks for the first query. According to your history the possibility of pregnancy is very less. Breast pain can be felt during premenstrual period, ovulatory period etc due to the hormonal effect. And abdominal pain can also be noticed by some women during these periods. Possibly you will get periods soon. If you do not get periods even after one week, consult gynecologist once and get evaluated. If she recommends go for ultrasound. Ultrasound helps in finding out the possible cause for delayed periods. And also possible causes for pain abdomen like pelvic infection, appendicitis etc can be ruled out. If your doctor recommends go for thyroid profile. By this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated. Take care.
