Missing Periods After Childbirth. Due To Breastfeeding? Need Medication?

Hi doc, I'm 31 years old and I just had a second c-section to my second child ending of May 2012. I always have my monthly period and i got it back early August of last year after my delivery up until February of this year and it stopped. It's been 3 months now and I haven't it yet, was it because I breast feed but I only do mostly evenings when I'm home from work and since I do mixed feedings. Is it normal for me not to have my period and just wait? Or is there a medication that I should take to get my period back again?

As per my advice in such condition for my patients, I would prefer to go first for normal pregnancy tests such as Urine/Serum pregnancy test (Beta-HCG) and a USG (Ultrasonography) to rule out pregnancy.
