My Baby Is Having Yellow Colored Seedy And Mucous Stool
My baby is almost 3 months old. Normally he poops once everyday...green and pasty, but yesterday he started pooping yellow colored seedy and mucousy stool after each feeding. He eats every 2 hrs but not fussy. He plays and vital signs within normal limits. What's with the sudden change? Baby is formula fed.

Hai...he is probably what is called gastro colic reflex....which means after every feed he will have some amount of motion coming out as poo soon after feeds. it is because whenever the baby feds the stomach expands and when it contracts it sends a wave through the intestines which makes the small amount in last past of intestine to come out. Nothing to worry about. Happy to help any time.
