My Bp Is Around 120/30. Why Is My Diastolic Pressure So Low?
My bp is around 120/30. Why is my diastolic pressure so low? I m very fit and in the Army. I ve taken my blood pressure several times in different places. Low diastolic pressure doesn t make sense
This is interesting.
What is your pulse rate when these relaxed figures occur please? and how does it ( -your pulse) behave when you run say, at jogging pace on a cardio machine for a minute?
Indicated pressures on their own are quite meaningless, in the absence of simultaneous pulse rates .
And you must remember, of course, that neither of the readings you are getting (systolic and diastolic) is actually the true pressure. They are only indirect reflections of pressures which -even themselves- (!) aren't true values. That is, they are NOT the pressures generated by your heart.......
