My Father Has Been Diagnosed With Stage 4 Colon Cancer And Has Been Given About 6 Months To Live

I am just depressed. My son wants nothing to do with any of our family since he married an girl in Indiana. She has taken him away from the whole family & he never talks to any of us. My father has been diagnost with stage 4 colon cancer and has been given about6 months to live. I just don t know what to do

Since your father has stage 4 colon cancer i would suggest u start palliative chemotherapy for him.
The intent of treatment is palliation and not cure and improving his quaity of life.
Also u can do a KRAS mutation report from his biopsy sample and if wild type then cetuximab can be added as targeted therapy to chemotherapy which may increase his average survival time.
