My Husband Attempted Suicide By Cutting His Throat. Healing Time?
My husband attempted suicide by cutting his throat in which he severed his saliva gland which could not be repaired during surgery. It has been 4 weeks now and he is still unable to swallow or speak correctly. Is there a time frame that is normal for healing? His tongue is also still swollen.
fistula or opening from inside to out side can be corrected by surgery or healing by on its own.it is totally depandent on persons immunity.if it is not healing can be taken up surgery for correction.
