It could be he has some build up of cholesterol in the arteries or veins. This can be dislodged in the system and can cause a heart attack. Other times, if your husband had a arryhtmia such as atrial flutter or atrial fibrillation this can cause a blood clot and this will be dislodged in your system. There are also people who are prone to have blood clots.
