My Period Is Late But Im On Birth Control

My period is late but im on birth control. I started my pack a week after my period. Ive never missed a day of it and Im on my pink pills now, yet now period. I took a pregnancy test Thursday and it said negative. My boyfriend and I used to pull out method each time. Ive had really bad cramps, and I did have sore nipples but not anymore. I dont know why my period hasnt came.

it may be the side effect of the birth control pills itself. has the pregnancy tests are negative there is no need to panic about the pregnancy.
