My Wife Is Pregnant And Is Suffering From Typhoid And ESR. Will It Have Any Impact On My Baby?

Hello Sir, My wife is 3 months pregnant (3rd month came on 23-12-13). She has been suffering with Typhoid & ESR. She is undergoing treatment, but I wonder whether it will have any impact on my baby in future. Further, we copulated while I was having Typhoid in the month of October 2013. The widal report says Typhi H 1:320 and Typhi O 1:320. This was 10 days back report. Yesterday again I got her blood tested. It says Typhi H 1:160 and Typhi O 1:160. Please advice.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Typhoid itself won't affect baby in future, but prolonged rise in temperature (fever) can affect baby's development. So more importantly try to keep her fever under control.
Wish you good health.
