Nail Bruised After Hitting It Hard. Oozing Brownish Color From Uderneath. What Does That Mean?
i bruised my nail because i hit it really hard, i have fake acrylics but the nail underneath is very bruised. it has been for far over a month but tonight i realized its starting to ooze a brownish color from underneath the nail.. what does that mean?
I am empathetic to the nail injury suffered by you. Nail injuries are one of the most painful injuries.
If the injury is deep enough then it may be possible to have blood collection under the nail. As you have oozing of brownish colored fluid so it may be possible to have secondary infection over the same. You should consult a doctor to check the same at the earliest.
Do not try applying over the counter products as these can further aggravate the situation. Do not pinch or pop the area as it can further aggravate the condition. Keep the hand raised above the heart level so that the swelling should not occur.
Take care.
