Nausea, Cold Sweats, Mild Disorientation, Passing Out. History Of Having Sore Throat, Cold, Mild Fever Treated With Robitussin, Tylenol. Ideas?

Hello . I ve had a throat/head cold for a couple of days, accompanied by relatively mild symptoms of a slight fever, sore throat and head congestion. I ve been treating it with OTC remedies I.e. Robitussin and Tylenol. Last night I woke up suddenly feeling the onset of nausea, cold sweats and mild disorientation. This has happened several times in the past 3 years, but was usually associated with a stomach bug. The problem occurred when I passed out in the bathroom and hit my head; and even chipped my tooth. I suspect the Vegas nerve has somehow been stimulated, but don t understand why this would occur with a mild head cold.
