Nausea, Low Appetite, Low Body Temperature. Should I Be Concerned About Meningitis?
My son had a cold about 10 days ago. Ever since finishing his antibiotic , he s had nausea daily, low appetite and just tonight I ve noticed low body temperature of 97.3. He does not show any other symptoms, but should I be concerned that it s meningitis? He takes daily preventative pill/ inhaler to maintain his asthma, so he already has that as a daily symptom as well. The nausea is sporatic and goes away within the hour, so he s continued with his daily routine.
Th symptoms described is unlikely to be due to meningitis.
Low temperature may be due to environmental cause.
Keep the child warm with enough cloth and covering.
Nausea may be related to the medicines taken.
