General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This medication is used along with controlled ultraviolet light (UVA) to help control severe psoriasis. The recommended dose is 20 mg 2-4 hour before measured periods of sunlight exposure twice weekly or on alternate days, with at least 48-hour intervals between doses.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
