Need Medication For Burnt Marks On Hand

Hi Doctor, Good afternoon, My 2 yrs baby boy got his hand burnt due a iron box, it is about 2-3 inches, what can we do for this can we use silverex ionic 0.2%? if so, for how many times we have to apply the same? Can we put some ice cubes covered by cloth in that area for soothing?

Hi, thank you for posting.

The treatment of skin burn contain systemic oral antibiotics and liniment creams such as Silverex ionic 0.2%.
Before you apply Silverex you should clean his hand with Dilute 3% Hydrogen Peroxide Solution.
To relieve pain I recommend Acetominophen(Paracetamol).

You should consult a plastic surgeon.
