Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband, aged 63, has worked hard all his life. He still works a very physical day & by the end of the week on Friday evening he will get up from his easy chair and stagger and nearly fall over. He suffers terrible cramps in his legs and has very painful knees. Only a warm rug over his knees or knee warmers gives him some relief. My 85 year old father walks with less pain and is more stable. We are at our wits end. What should we do?
best remedy would be to place both the feet in warm and cold water( drop ice cubes) in separate basins alternately for 10 minutes for half an hour daily after the work. simple exercises like flexion and extension of ankle joint. medication not required
