Need Medication For Dry Skin & Pimple Leaving Behind Blemishes
Hi.. my name is Priyanka. I m 25 yrs old. I have dry skin of my face. And i m getting pimples sometimes on my face. But the thing is that i m getting dark patches on my face because of this pimples. I have fair complexion and that s why these patches are looking worst on my face. Tell me some solution where i can get ride of this patchy skin. Thanks & regards, Priyanka

Hello,
For dry skin:
1. Use a soap free cleanser like cetaphil cleansing lotion for washing face and nothing else.
2. Apply a moisturizing lotion rather than a cream/ointment (read label carefully). Lotion is more liquid and wont increase your pimples.
For pimples with dark patches:
1. Do not pick/scratch/burst the pimples at all.
2. Use a non comedogenic sunscreen like Neutrogena Ultrasheer 50SPF sunscreen 2 -3 times a day
3.Removing pigment/dark spots of pimple there are many creams available such as aziderm 10%/20% etc (to be applied on the pimple only and not the normal skin)
4. Apart from this, for pimples with pigmentation is sometimes best treated with chemical peels with salicylic acid.
