Need Medication For Fungus In Troath

Halo! My husband 70 years old in the last year is constantly having trouble with cleaning his troath and specially at night when he goes to bed. Numeros test were done and the doctors didnt found cancer and he is suffering and specially he is depressed. He went to a natural medicine doctor this week and she said he has fungus in his troath and avoid milk, sweets and bread. Would you recomend any specialist in seattle for him and what is your opininion in this particularly case. Thank you Doctor

I am so sorry to hear about this throat problem that your husband has. It would be very unlikely that repeated testing that went as far as investigating for cancer would have missed a fungal infection in the throat. I understand you are desperate to get a diagnosis but accepting a wrong diagnosis is even worse than not admitting that a diagnosis has not been reached for your husband. My advice is simply not to be tricked in believing what this natural doctor said and continue searching for possible answers to why your husband has this condition or accepting that there is no underlying pathological cause to his symptoms.

Constant urge to clean the throat could be cause by acid reflux disease and postnasal drip. I will suggest that you get this investigated into as chronic cough and not accept wrong diagnostic impression.
