Need Medication For High Fever
So my son turned one on the 16th, four days ago he got his 12 month shots. Today he was running a fever today , high of 102 but mostly around 101. My question is he is sleeping and keeps shaking. Almost like he is dreaming and I see some eye movement so I am unsure of he dreaming.

What you r son is experiencing is called febrile delirium and is common in high fever in kids. The behavioral abnormality will settle by itself once fever settles.
Fever of one day without any localizing signs could as well a viral illness. Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day.
If he is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration if the kid is active.
You can treat fever with Paracetamol at 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly if fever is > 100F.
