-stomach digest food using enzymes, these enzymes need proper environment to work at, any change of acidity of the stomach could cause slowing of these enzymes action and then delayed emptying of the stomach - parasitic infection another cause of delayed emptying and sense of satiety - bulimia & anorexia also is a cause and it is about feeling that you are fat but you are not, so you psychologically hat food
