It is not advisable not to douch as douching increases the chance of infection. It may introduce infectious organisms in the vagina or alter the normal vaginal bacteria leading to overgrowth of abnormal ones. In any case it is advisable that you see a gynecologist and get tested for presence of infection. medicated vaginal tablets usually help in achieving a cure. Do not wash the area repeatedly as it will lead to soreness and increase inflammation. Keep the area dry, change the undergarments regularly. I hope that the answer helped. Thanks for using HCM.
