Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 5 yr old daughter had a staph infection on her back a few months ago. Noticed breath, nose smelled more before diagnosis. Treated with antibiotics but still smell coming from her nose, breath. Is the infection still in her nose and causing this? Haven t noticed any problems with her nose or discharge.
Hi dear,I had gone through your question and understand your concern It is very difficult to treat Staphylococcus, because they are usually live in our nose, tonsils and our organizm accepts them as normal flora.I can suggest: 1. Staphylococcal bacteriophage 20 ml twice a day for 10 days. 2.Antistaphylococcal immunoglobulin every alternative day 3 injections. 3. Drop nose with Chloramphenikol or Cyprofloxacin or put inside 1% Chloramphenikol 3 times a day for 3 days. Increase immunity
