Hi Tulasi. Thanks for asking to HCM. The nose is a part of the body rich in blood vessels (vascular). Nosebleeds can occur spontaneously when the nasal membranes dry out and crack. This is common in dry climates, or during the winter months. Other causes of nose bleeds are allergic rhinitis, hypertension, use of blood thinning medications. U had some surgery on your nose and u have not mentioned for what u had. I think your nose bleeding is due to dryness. Follow these advice during nose bleed 1.Pinch all the soft parts of the nose together between the thumb and index finger. 2.Press firmly toward the face - compressing the pinched parts of the nose against the bones of the face. 3. Hold nose for 3-4 minutes and breath from mouth To prevent nose bleed, if u have dryness in nose try lubricating the nose with an ointment of some type like saline mist nasal spray.
